What does a shared ride to Morocco look like??
The shared ride starts at Algeciras, which each crew reaches on their own.
We pick up people renting a camper at CostaCamper from the airport in Alicante the Malaga – depending on the pickup location of the selected vehicle. Participants traveling in their own campers or vehicles rented from other rental companies plan and organize their own travel to Algeciras.
We have prepared a route proposal, which allows you to combine sightseeing with relaxation. We visit the most interesting places in Spain and Morocco, we stop at beautiful beaches, we discover local attractions and find time for evenings together and relaxation. Each crew decides for themselves, whether he wants to explore more in a given place, or just relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the trip.
One of the biggest advantages of caravanning is independence. You always have your "apartment on wheels" with you, therefore, you do not have to return to the hotel at a specific time or subject your day to a rigid schedule. We have prepared this route proposal:, so that the daily sections are comfortable and allow you to enjoy the journey without having to cover very long routes every day.
We maintain flexibility when sharing a ride. If weather conditions, the road situation or organizational reasons will require minor changes, we can adjust the plan for the following days accordingly.

CONDITIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SHARED RIDE
The given price is valid when the organizational minimum is reached: 2 campers rented at CostaCamper or 4 crews traveling in their own campers.
In the case of a smaller number of participants, a shared ride may take place after the participants accept an appropriately changed fee.
If the organizational minimum is not achieved, and participants will not accept the price change, payments made will be refunded in 100%.
If circumstances occur that make it impossible to carry out a shared ride, the participant will receive a refund of the payments made or - at his/her choice - the option to use the paid amount for another date..
PRICE INCLUDES
- rental of a camper with equipment – if you choose the variant with a CostaCamper camper, in accordance with separate lease terms,
- preparation of the proposed route and logistics of the shared ride,
- coordination of the group on the route,
- assistance in selecting parking spaces and in contacts with campsites and camper parks,
- CostaCamper covers the costs of parking the camper in parking spaces, at campsites and camper parks intended for the group on the route - the participant does not incur any additional fees,
- a walkie-talkie for each crew during the shared ride,
- ongoing support from a coordinator who has experience in traveling around Spain and Portugal and communicates in Polish, English and Spanish,
- organizational assistance during stops,
- information about places and attractions along the route,
- Participant starter pack,
- joint photo and video report from the trip.
Parking spaces during shared rides
As part of the participation fee, CostaCamper covers the costs of parking the camper in the places provided for in the rideshare plan., if the place is paid.
Each participant retains full freedom to travel. If you decide to stay in a place other than the one intended for the group or choose a campsite or camper park of a higher standard or higher price, he bears the costs of such stoppage on his own.
In such a case, the participant independently selects the parking place and settles accounts with its operator. The cost of the place provided for the group is not refundable or exchangeable for another service.
The aim of this solution is to provide participants with full freedom of choice while maintaining transparent settlement rules and no unforeseen surcharges for other participants of the shared ride..
PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
- deposit resulting from the CostaCamper camper rental agreement,
- fuel,
- road and parking fees unrelated to the parking spaces intended for the group,
- meals,
- entrance tickets, cruises and other additional attractions selected individually by participants,
- additional insurance for participants,
- insurance of the participant's own camper - valid third party liability insurance is required and appropriate assistance is recommended,
- roadside assistance costs beyond the scope of insurance for a given vehicle,
- other individual expenses of participants.
One price - no surprises for stops
Planning a joint route, we choose both free parking places, as well as campsites and camper parks. If, according to the group's plan, we use a paid parking space, its cost is covered by CostaCamper as part of the fee paid.
Thanks to this, the participant does not have to add the costs of parking spaces provided for the group to his or her budget when traveling together.

Please make sure before you start carpooling, that you have all the necessary documents:
- valid passport,
- valid driving license,
- We recommend purchasing individual travel insurance covering, among others:. treatment costs, Assistance and accident insurance.
We recommend travel insurance to people renting a camper at CostaCamper NEWS with the option of extending the protection to include damage to the rented vehicle.
Additional documents for participants traveling in their own camper
If you are participating with your own camper or a vehicle rented outside CostaCamper, please be prepared:
- vehicle registration certificate,
- valid third party liability insurance,
- Green Card – if required for the countries included in the route,
- in the case of a vehicle leased or used under another contract - a document confirming the right to use the vehicle outside the country, if required.
The participant is responsible for having the documents required by state regulations, through which the route runs.
Important information
The subject of the contract concluded with CostaCamper is the rental of a camper (if applicable) and organizational benefits described in the offer and Conditions of Participation.
We are not a travel agency or tour operator in accordance with the Tourism Act.
Each crew travels at their own risk, drives his own vehicle and is responsible for the safety of the people in the camper.
Participants traveling in campers rented at CostaCamper use the vehicles in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement and Rental Regulations. CostaCamper provides vehicle insurance resulting from the concluded contract, however, individual travel insurance is provided by the participant on his own.
Costs not indicated in the offer as covered by the fee are covered by the participant himself. This applies in particular to fuel, meals, tolls, parking lots, mandates, treatment costs, additional insurance and other expenses incurred during the trip.
Practical information
CostaCamper campers are prepared for travel and equipped with, among others::
- dishes,
- cutlery,

- linen (pillowcases optional – according to the offer).
We recommend bringing your own towels and personal items.
